Charlandra Latrice Jacobs

Charlandra was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a wife, mother, a licensed ordained minister, entrepreneur, author, and actress. Charlandra served in the United States Army as an active duty solider. She received the Army Service Ribbon, Army Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service medal for recognition for serving during the Gulf War. She also served a military OCONUS tour in Hawaii and on TDY assignments internationally. After completing her military duties, Charlandra was Honorably Discharged. She attended Troy State University where she received her Associate Degree in Business Administration from Troy State University. Later she transferred to Saint Leo University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and her Master of Business Administration Degree.

Charlandra is a Non-denominational licensed Ordained Minister along with her husband Isaiah in Good Standing within the National Association Christian Ministers. Also, she is the Founder and CEO of Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Center which is located in Atlanta, Ga. This Center assists military women veterans who are transitioning from military life to civilian life who are unemployed, have become homeless, or at risk of being homeless. Charlandra and her husband were guest speakers on Atlanta Live television broadcast discussing her new book and inspiring others that our lives are a living testimony. Also, Charlandra has been a guest on the KISS 104.1 radio station hosted by Tom Joyner and Twanda Black, where she discaussed highlights of her book.

Charlandra recent book is entitled, “Testimonial Voices of a Mother.” In this book, you will receive empowerment and wisdom that you can overcome any obstacle in your life whether it be losing a loved one, being in an abusive relationship, depression, losing a job, experiencing challenges as a military soldier, being treated unfairly, or having lack and insufficiency. Charlandra wants you to know that God loves you no matter what and that he will supply all of your needs according to his riches in glory. When you’re stuck and you don’t know what to do, Trust God and know that he will make all wrongs Right and cause you to be a Conqueror. God’s will is that you WIN consistently in every area of your Life with nothing missing and nothing broken. He shall make you whole again.

As an upcoming actress, Charlandra has appeared in Jim Ellis Automotive commercials in the Atlanta and surrounding areas and she was featured in the 2015 movie “SELMA”, directed by Ava DuVernay and produced by Oprah Winfrey. Also she was featured in the 2014 Lifetime movie “The Trip to Bountiful” starring Miss Cicely Tyson, Keke Palmer, and Blair Underwood.

As an Ordained Minister, Charlandra speaks and shares the Good News about how God loves us unconditionally and his desire for us is to grow and prosper in everything that concerns us. One of her memorable events is that she spoke at the Betty Shabazz Delta Sigma Theta event that inspires young black girls. Charlandra reminded these young girls that they rock, they are beautiful inside and out and that they can achieve success with good character and the right mindset.
