Apple-of-My-Eye

Apple of my Eye Women Veterans Center (non-profit organization) founded in 2017

Charlandra is the Founder and CEO of Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Center which is located in a suburb of Atlanta, Ga. This Center assists women veterans who have honorably served our country and due to unforeseen circumstances they have unfortunately become homeless, or at risk of being homeless, and military women that are transitioning from military life to civilian life that are unemployed. Our assistance includes computer and internet usage for resume writing, job search, job interview tools, clothing for job interviews, and some personal care items. However, we’re not a homeless shelter due to security measure, liability and limited space; but we will be happy to provide referrals to homeless shelters.

Our core mission is to bring restoration, motivation, solid employment to these Women Veterans, so that they’ll become productive, and self-sufficient again. Our Founder/CEO Charlandra Jacobs, can truly relate with Women Veterans because she too has served her country with sacrifice, dignity, and honor. She believes that we all are the Apple of God’s Eye meaning that God’s Love should be expressed with action.

Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Organization. We will never discriminate against anyone because of their race, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability, gender identity, or protected veteran status.
