Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Foundation
Apple of my Eye Women Veterans Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit founded in 2017
Charlandra is the Founder and CEO of Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Foundation. Her foundation provides assistance to military women veterans who have emergency needs, or at risk of being homeless due to unforeseen circumstances and those that are transitioning from military life to civilian life that are unemployed. We may provide used laptops and computers, personal care items, and small furniture depending on available inventory. However the laptops and computers can be used to assist veterans in resume writing and searching for employment. We are not a homeless shelter due to security measure, liability and limited space; but we will be happy to provide referrals to homeless shelters.
Our core mission is to help Women Veterans to become productive, and self-sufficient again. Our Founder and CEO Charlandra Jacobs, can truly relate with Women Veterans because she too is a veteran that has served along with these women for her country with sacrifice, dignity, and honor. She believes helping others is apart of God’s will for her and God is Love. This is the reason that her foundation is called the Apple of God’s Eye meaning Love and Love is expressed with action.
Apple of My Eye Women Veterans Foundation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Organization. We will never discriminate against anyone because of their race, color, sex, sexual orientation, age, religion, national origin, disability, gender identity, or protected veteran status.
